POMCO Group's EM Risk Management Division Moves to Buffalo's Waterfront

EM Risk Management, the Buffalo-based workers' compensation division of POMCO Group, is relocating to 50 Lakefront Boulevard on Monday, May 1. The 5,000-square-foot space will accommodate the company's anticipated employee growth.

"We essentially became victims of our own success," said POMCO Group President Bob Pomfrey. "The steady growth we've experienced over the last several years - both in terms of clients and staff - had us bursting at the seams at our previous location and necessitated this move."

Pomfrey added that the new space gives EM Risk Management employees the enhanced work environment and necessary resources to continue providing its clients with the highest levels of service they expect. The company's average client tenure is 14 years.

EM Risk Management currently provides workers' compensation and disability management administration services to several Western New York clients, including the Buffalo City School District, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the City of Lackawanna and Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. POMCO Group also handles medical benefits administration for several other regional clients, including Osmose Holdings, Inc.
