POMCO Group Launches Health Care Reform Blog

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) signed by President Obama this spring has generated many questions from self funded employers. How will the changes affect my company's health care expenses? What details of the Act will affect me and when will the changes take place? What are my options? POMCO Group has created a blog, Health Care Educator, that will address the many issues surrounding health care and how they will affect self insured employer groups.

Kathleen Lamb, J.D., vice president of compliance and general counsel and Amy Zell, J.D. staff attorney and plan benefit analyst have been tapped to be POMCO Group's resident bloggers. Health Care Educator provides Lamb and Zell with the opportunity to provide information and insight that is steeped in their understanding of the law and the intricacies of self funded plans. As health care reform gives way to other issues that may impact health care expenses for employers, the POMCO Group blog will serve as a valuable resource to facilitate discussion and provide information.
