POMCO Receives Employer of Distinction Award

POMCO Group received an Employer of Distinction award from the Central New York Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Success by 6 program. POMCO received its award in the category of "Overall HR Excellence/Medium-Sized Companies."

Employer of Distinction awards are presented to local companies and organizations that demonstrate "human-resource excellence and family-friendly policies."

Central to POMCO's recognition is its People Plan, which focuses on enhancing the work environment of its employees by giving them the necessary tools and resources to best do their jobs. POMCO also recently created the role of Vice President for People, who is specifically tasked with implementing the company's People Plan.
